Dr. Agarwal is an experienced board certified internist and physician entrepreneur. He finished medical school from Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India followed by residency from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI in 2009. Since then he has worked extensively in all aspects of the healthcare system including office and hospital medicine out of multiple hospitals. He has also served several administrative roles during this time on various committees. He is committed to medical education and teaching.
Dr. Agarwal has lived in Gig Harbor with his family since 2016. He has worked in multiple hospitals in the Puget Sound Region forging invaluable relationships and friendships over the years. He sees the myriad challenges that patients and families have to face every single day. Apollo Health PLLC, a physician owned and run internal medicine practice is the culmination of his strong belief that the best healthcare is always local from one who understands the people and the community. Dr. Baig is a passionate and detail-oriented internist. He finished his Internal Medicine residency from James J. Peters VA Medical Center in affiliation with New York University where he also served in the capacity of Chief Medical Resident. After completion of his residency he worked in AZ before moving to Pacific Northwest where he resides and practices now since 2008.
Dr. Baig is certified by American Board of Internal Medicine and has been affiliated with Providence health system in Olympia, WA and more recently with Multicare Hospital system in Tacoma, WA and spent most of his career taking care of critically ill hospitalized and post acute care patients. This extensive work in the hospital and post hospital setting has triggered an immense desire in him to focus on preventative health i.e., keeping his patients (especially with chronic medical problems like Diabetes, Hypertension, Obesity, Asthma, COPD, Congestive heart failure, CKD, Dementia and others) healthy and away from the hospital. He believes that healthcare has to follow patients and not the other way around and by using robust modern technology tools like telemedicine and enhanced data communication platforms between patients/caregivers and healthcare providers, this goal, no matter how hard it is, is possible to achieve.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Baig’s other passion is to create technology solutions for patients and healthcare providers. He enjoys playing squash, watching movies, spending time with his kids and growing tropical plants.
Dr. Iqbal is a passionate Internal medicine specialist. He finished his Internal Medicine residency from Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago. After completion of his residency he served patients in Yakima WA, Marion IL and also had the opportunity to work in Australia as head of the medicine department. He was working at MultiCare Tacoma for 12 years since 2008 as a hospitalist physician and recently decided to move to outpatient practice.
Dr. Iqbal is certified by American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr Iqbal has extensive experience in treating chronic medical problems like Diabetes, Hypertension, Obesity, Asthma, COPD, Congestive heart failure, CKD etc. He has helped multiple US organizations deploy the latest technologies to facilitate remote patient care. He launched multiple philanthropic projects over last two decades which helped provide free treatment to more than fifty thousand non affording patients across the globe. He enjoys playing cricket and spending time with his family. over the years. He sees the myriad challenges that patients and families have to face every single day.
